While the week-to-week gas price averages have gone down slightly in Pennsylvania, drivers can expect to see the highest price at the pump in the last four years.
The national average this morning , according to Triple-A, is $4.52, a one cent increase from last Saturday. Pennsylvania’s average is still higher than the national at $4.62, down two cents from last week.
Indiana’s average this morning is $4.76. That’s second-highest in the six-county region. The lowest is Jefferson at $4.57, while the highest is Armstrong at $4.84. GasBuddy.com reports that most gas stations in Indiana are at $4.78 a gallon. Along the Route 119 corridor in Homer City, both Sheetz and Kwik Fill are at $4.78, while Accent Fuels reports a $4.65 price this morning. Gas prices along the Route 22 corridor are significantly higher at $4.85 to $4.88.
