The Dixon Trophy is awarded annually to the top overall athletic department in the conference based on postseason finishes and regular-season standings across all sports.
Every IUP varsity program qualified for PSAC postseason during the athletic year.
The women’s programs were the big boost for IUP. Volleyball came within one match of the Elite Eight. Women’s tennis won a sixth consecutive PSAC West regular-season championship and advancing to the NCAA Round of 16. Women’s swimming and softball also enjoyed deep runs.
On the men’s side, football led the way with a department-best 16 Dixon Trophy points. Men’s basketball and baseball also had strong seasons.
