The Steelers have signed their first-round pick from last month’s NFL draft, Max Iheanachor.
The financial details were not disclosed but the Steelers did confirm it was a four-year contract. Iheanachor is the seventh member of the 10-person draft class to sign on the dotted line. He played in 32 games with 31 starts over three seasons at Arizona State. He allowed three sacks across 1,159 career pass-blocking snaps. He gave up no sacks as a redshirt senior and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors last season.
Receiver Germie Bernard, quarterback Drew Allar and running back Eli Heidenreich remain unsigned. OTA’s begin on Monday, but draft picks who are not signed can still take part.
