Indiana University of Pennsylvania has received another honor for their computer science and cybersecurity program.
The school has been ranked eighth in the nation by Programs.com. It is the only program at a Pennsylvania public university in the top 10 rankings. Programs.com is an education platform that helps students find the country’s top cybersecurity programs. Editors evaluate schools based on curriculum strength, career outcomes, affordability, and overall academic reputation. IUP was ranked high for excellence and affordability. The IUP cybersecurity program has more than 130 students enrolled, and about 25 students annually complete the program and receive their bachelor’s degree in the Computer Science/Cybersecurity track.
This recognition follows the program’s ranking as seventh in the nation in the 2026 Cybersecurity Guide.
