It was a successful day for the 40th annual Luther Ford Golf Classic.
Many people turned out for the annual golf tournament yesterday at the Indiana Country Club. Former Steelers and current Pitt football play-by-play commentator Bill Hillgro has been on hand for many of these tournaments and was present again yesterday. He talked about the impact that event organizer and President of Luther Ford Mario Luther has had on the community.
The event once again benefitted the Indiana Regional Medical Center’s Women’s Imaging Center. Dr. Dan Clark from IRMC’s comprehensive breast center talked about the impact it would have on that department.
Last year, over $30,000 was raised by the event. Mario Luther of Luther Ford says they have exceeded last year’s totals.
