Police officers who have died in the line of duty are being remembered in Westmoreland County.
The local district attorney’s office hosted the 5th annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service at the courthouse in Greensburg yesterday. A granite memorial to the 28 officers who have died while serving citizens in the county was introduced last year.
The ceremony was planned in conjunction with National Police Week.
