An 18-year-old Westmoreland County woman is facing DUI and unauthorized use charges after Pennsylvania State Police said she took her parents’ SUV without permission and drove erratically in Clarion County.
According to ExploreClarion.com, Morgan Grace Weston, of Derry, was stopped by the PSP in Farmington Township on Feb. 28 after nearly striking a guardrail and utility pole along Route 36. Police said Weston, who allegedly told troopers it was her first time driving, showed signs of impairment during sobriety testing.
Toxicology results reportedly detected several prescription medications in her system. She also faces multiple summary traffic violations, including careless driving and driving without a license.
