TODAY’S SEVERE WEATHER THREAT

We’re looking at two main waves today: The first this morning will just be rain showers and presents no severe threat. The second forms along a cold front this afternoon and carries some potential for thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds up to 50-60 mph, though that will depend heavily on how much heating occurs between the two waves. More heating = greater threat.
