A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in Westmoreland County.
Authorities say that on Tuesday afternoon, a motorcycle read-ended an SUV in the area of Porter Avenue and Cedar Drive in East Huntingdon Township. The motorcycle driver, identified as Mark Hixson, was flung from the bike during the crash.
Hixson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
