Jurors in Westmoreland County on Monday heard testimony from the husband of a Delmont woman charged in the death of their adopted son.
Prosecutors say Lauren Maloberti tortured the five-year-old boy who died in February of 2023. Jacob Maloberti testified against his wife yesterday saying that he only started to question the cause of the boy’s death after he and his spouse were arrested for murder.
Jacob Maloberti is set to take the stand again today for cross-examination.
