The Altoona Curve blasted four home runs Saturday night in a 7-1 defeat of Chesapeake.
Callan Moss, Omar Alfonzo, Jack Brannigan, and Will Taylor all homered, while Curve pitchers combined to strike out fourteen Baysox batters. Starter Connor Wietgrefe threw four innings and struck out six, giving up one run on five hits. Landon Tomkins, Cy Nielson, and Emmanuel Chapman threw the final five innings without allowing a hit, with Tomkins striking out two over two innings, Nielson striking our four over two-and-a-third, and Chapman striking out two in the ninth, ending the game stranding three runners on base.
