The Steelers had four viable tight ends on the roster last season, but Jonnu Smith and Connor Heyward are gone, so they’ve been focused on bolstering the position this offseason. They’ve added fifth round draft pick Riley Nowakowski, undrafted free agents Lake McRee and Chamon Metayer, brought back practice squad player JJ Galbreath, and yesterday they re-signed Jaheim Bell, who spent some time on their practice squad last year after a season in New England.
Steelers rookie minicamp is Friday through Sunday this week.
