JURY SELECTION BEGINS IN TRIAL OF DELMONT WOMAN CHARGED IN ADOPTED SON’S DEATH

Proceedings are underway in the trial of a Delmont woman charged in the death of her adoptive son.

Prosecutors say Lauren Maloberti tortured her five-year-old son who died in February of 2023. Maloberti is charged with criminal homicide.

Jury selection began on Monday.
