A spokesperson for the Westmoreland County Airport Authority says they are continuing to pursue other carriers for the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport after the weekend shutdown of Spirit Airlines.
The discount airline ceased operations early Saturday. Spirit was the only carrier at Arnold Palmer.
Westmoreland County Commissioner Douglas Chew says they have been in talks with two budget carriers about starting operations at the airport.
