School board meetings this week include a work session for Purchase Line, which has an extensive agenda Monday night that includes numerous items having to do with the opening of the next school year in August, the new budget, service agreements, and the authorization to move forward with several high school projects, include the design of new restrooms and locker rooms.
Marion Center’s Outdoor Facilities Committee will hold a public meeting on Tuesday to discuss the proposed upgrades to John R. Mallino Stadium, with the options including a new, expanded track, installation of artificial turf on the field, a new scoreboard, bleacher enhancements, upgrades to the lighting and public address systems, the practice field, and more.
Superintendent Clint Weimer told Indiana In the Morning on WCCS that the project would impact all grades in the district and the community as well.

United’s board will hold a work session on Tuesday, Penns Manor’s board has a committee meeting planned for Wednesday, and Homer-Center will hold a planning meeting on Thursday.
