The Steelers have officially announced six undrafted free agents they’ve signed since the draft ended on Saturday. There are two tight ends: USC’s Luke McCree and Arizona State’s Chamon Matayer, who will be joined at rookie minicamp by Kansas kicker Laith Marjan and three defensive players, Missouri linebacker Daylan Carnell, Syracuse defensive lineman Kevin Jobity Jr., and Indiana cornerback Devan Boykin.
Also Monday, the U.S. Naval Academy announced on social media that fullback Alex Tecza, a Mount Lebanon High School and Navy teammate of Steelers seventh round draft choice Eli Heidenreich, has been invited to rookie minicamp. And social media reports indicate that Penns State’s 6-6, 296-pound punter, Gabe Nwosu, has been invited to minicamp.
