A man on parole after being convicted in connection with the robbery of a New Kensington gun store is facing new charges.
Twenty-year-old Steyn Sarduy previously pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy and theft of firearms in the January 2024 burglary of RC Firearms. Arnold Police say they tried to pull Sarduy over for speeding and a busted taillight earlier this month but that Sarduy continued on — later jumping out of the vehicle and trying to run off.
Officers — who later learned the vehicle had been stolen — caught up with Sarduy who now faces charges including fleeing police and receiving stolen property.
