BASEBALL
IUP is ranked eighth in the latest Atlantic Region poll released yesterday. Seton Hill is on top, followed by West Chester, East Stroudsburg, Millersville, Shippensburg, Wheeling, Frostburg, and then a two-way tie for eighth between IUP and Cal. Slippery Rock is tenth.
GOLF
IUP will play in its 29th straight Atlantic/East Regional as the number four seed. The tournament field was announced yesterday. The regional will be at the Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown on May 7th through the 9th.
TENNIS
IUP opened its pursuit of a sixth consecutive PSAC Tournament title with a 4-0 win over Millersville in the PSAC quarterfinals Monday at the Maple Street Courts. It was their team-record 15th straight match win. They’ll play either Bloomsburg or Cal in the semis on Friday at Bloomsburg. Cal and Bloom play today.
