State police, Indiana Regional Medical Center and the ICTC are teaming up for a joint training exercise that will be held on Tuesday.
The purpose of the training exercise is to give all the participating agencies a chance to practice and refine skills related to medical emergencies and a chance to complete their regulatory and trauma-related accreditations. The scene will involve a simulated accident at ICTC involving multiple patient transports to IRMC.
Visitors to IRMC main campus and ICTC may see some of the exercises going on but access will not be blocked to either facility. IRMC’s emergency department will remain open through the exercise for business as normal. ICTC will also remain open, but visitors will be required to sign in at the office.
People can always call IRMC at 724-357-7000 or visit the information desk with questions pertaining to their visit.
