With Aaron Rodgers nowhere near Pittsburgh, the Steelers “get-to-know-you” new coach minicamp continued yesterday with head coach Mike McCarthy and his staff introducing the team to their playbook terminology. Will Howard and Mason Rudolph split the time as “QB1”.
McCarthy met the media after the session and talked about the importance of the camp.
McCarthy said he anticipates expanding the routes available for DK Metcalfe, who has impressed the coach with his size and speed in the two days of camp.
After today’s final new coach minicamp session, the next time the Steelers will get on the field will be the rookie minicamp after the NFL Draft, which begins tomorrow in Pittsburgh.
