Altoona had only two hits, but both were solo home runs, and the Curve won their second straight game, 2-0, over Portland.
Titus Dumitru and Shawn Ross each homered for the Curve. Dominic Perachi threw six three-hit innings to get the win, with Landon Tomkins tossing the seventh and eighth, and Jaycob Deese working a scoreless ninth for the save.
The series concludes today at one o’clock at Peoples Gas Field, with Altoona sending Khristian Curtis to the mound.
