The NFL yesterday released a large list of former football stars with western Pennsylvania ties who will be in Pittsburgh for the NFL Draft next week, and the Steelers, Pitt, and Penn State will be well-represented , with teams sending some legendary players back to the ‘Burgh. That includes former Pitt stars Tony Dorsett (representing the Cowboys), Curtis Martin (Jets), Jimbo Covert (Bears), and James Connor (Cardinals). Steelers legends announcing draft picks will include Jerome Bettis, John Stallworth, and Joey Porter Sr. and Joey Porter Jr.
Teams can delegate draft pick presenters for the second round and after. The presenters next week will also include former Pitt players Bill Maas, Brian O’Neill, and Andy Lee; former Penn Staters Paul Posluszny, Matt Millen, and Shane Conlan; and former Shippensburg fullback (and Steeler) John Kuhn.
