A Derry Township man is accused of killing a pet cat.
State police say 27-year-old Tyler Rost-Maiolie has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty and other counts. Troopers were called to the suspect’s home on Tuesday after a neighbor reported seeing him repeatedly firing a gun into the air. While on that call, officials learned that the resident brutally killed the animal, according to PSP.
Authorities say the heavily burned remains of the cat were found at the property.
