The Penguins return to action this afternoon to host the Washington Capitals.
This may be the final appearance for the NHL’s All-time goal-scorer Alexander Ovechkin, as he has hinted about retirement at the end of the season. While the Penguins have locked in a playoff seat and home ice advantage in round one, the Caps are still in the hunt with a narrow chance of making it as a wildcard. Ovechkin said he is waiting until after the season’s over to determine if he is coming back.
