PORTABLE HEATER IDENTIFIED AS LIKELY CAUSE OF WESTMORELAND COUNTY FIRE

An issue with a portable heater is being cited as the likely cause of a Monday fire in Jeannette.

Crews were dispatched to a location on Alwine Avenue yesterday afternoon. The fire caused a garage to collapse.

No one was hurt.
