No injuries were reported in a vehicle crash in West Mahoning Township on March 30th.
State Police from the Punxsutawney Barracks said 71-year-old Thomas Pearce of Home was driving west on Dayton-Smicksburg Road when for unknown reasons he failed to negotiate a left curve in the road. His truck went onto the Westbound berm, hitting and breaking a utility pole. He then swerved across both lanes before stopping in the Westbound lane. Pearce will be cited for not driving on roads laned for travel.
