The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without the services of defenseman Caleb Jones, who underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder, according to Pens GM and President of Hockey Operations Kyle Dubas. That surgery was performed on March 18th in collaboration with team doctors. The expected recovery time is four to six months, meaning Jones may be ready for the start of the 2026-27 regular season.
The Pens will take on a scheduling oddity this weekend with two straight home games against the Florida Panthers today and tomorrow. Faceoff is at 5:00 and we’ll have the game on U-92.5 FM starting at 4:00 PM.
