A U.S. Secret Service agent assigned to former first lady Jill Biden mistakenly shot himself in the leg at a Philadelphia airport, KYW Newsradio reported, citing sources.
An agent was injured “following a negligent discharge while handling a service weapon,” Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring told Fox News Digital in a statement provided in response to a request for comment — the statement discussing the incident did not name Jill Biden, the wife of former President Joe Biden.
