Severe weather is possible today. There is still some uncertainty with how morning showers and storms may impact later convection this afternoon and evening. In any case, there is potential for severe weather with damaging winds, hail, and tornadoes all possible. Damaging winds will be the primary threat.
In addition to the severe weather threat for the Wednesday through Wednesday night period, there is a Marginal Risk of Excessive Rainfall. Here are the rainfall amounts expected as well. While a Flood Watch will not be needed, there still may be some minor flooding issues in flood prone areas. Stay tuned for updates.
