The red-hot Penguins are 13-2-2 since returning from the Christmas break, and they have three games this week before the NHL shuts down for the Winter Olympics.
Tonight at PPG Paints Arena, the Pens ride a six-game winning streak into their game against the Ottawa Senators. It will be the third and final game they play without forward Bryan Rust, who will serve the last game of his three-game NHL suspension.
Pens captain Sidney Crosby says they are getting production from everybody, and especially from the Blake Lizotte and Evgeni Malkin lines.
The Senators have won three games in a row.
After tonight, the Penguins will visit the New York Islanders tomorrow night and at Buffalo on Thursday, then will not play again until after the Olympics, on February 26th against New Jersey.
Airtime tonight on 92.5 FM U92 is 6 o’clock.
