A PennDOT worker from Punxsutawney was jailed after police said he arrived intoxicated at a state maintenance facility and disrupted snow removal operations during a storm.
State police charged 26-year-old Logan Francis Geist with multiple offenses including disorderly conduct, obstructing government functions and resisting arrest after he allegedly acted aggressively toward coworkers and refused to cooperate with troopers. Authorities said the disturbance prevented crews from clearing roadways.
Geist was unable to post $15,000 bail and remains in the Jefferson County Jail pending a preliminary hearing Feb. 26.
