A car swerved to avoid a utility worker and struck a fence in a one-vehicle crash in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County, state police said.
The crash happened about 9 a.m. Thursday on Route 536 near Boddorf Road when the driver lost control on a curve and hit a bank and fence post. Police said the driver and a passenger were not injured, but the vehicle became stuck in snow and was towed from the scene.
The driver was cited for failing to stay within her lane.
