BOYS BASKETBALL
Undefeated United raced past Portage, 86-53. Ryan Felix led the Lions with 23 and Carter Payne and Brody Burkett each had 17. Connor Darr added 10. Tyson Burkett and Teagan Kick each scored 11 and Easton Slanoc 10 for the Mustangs.
Homer-Center’s Nash Budner scored 21 points and Jaiden Sharer had 12 as the Wildcats took control early and defeated Purchase Line 52-24.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Indiana improved to 15-2, 7-1 in 5A Section 2 with a 48-28 win over Kiski Area. Julia Antonacci scored 20 points to lead Indiana and Addy Hutton added 13.
Freshman Adia Lieb scored 16 points, Clara Henry 14, and Josie Matko 12 as Penns Manor topped Homer-Center, 52-28.

Tonight, the United girls and boys visit Homer-Center for the “Sideline Cancer” doubleheader at the Homerdome. The girls tip off at 6. We’re on the air for both games beginning at 5:45.
