Two women are facing criminal charges after undercover investigations at several massage parlors in Westmoreland County.
On Tuesday, State Police and Greensburg Police conducted raids at four businesses believed to be owned by the same operator. According to officials, the women taken into custody had been offering sexual services for cash.
State police arrested Peiyun Zhang, who is now charged with prostitution and soliciting sexual acts. Investigators say she was working at Mu’s Asian Massage Parlor on New Alexandria Road in Greensburg.
Greensburg police also arrested Hailan Zhou, who faces the same charges. Authorities say she was employed at Li’s Massage on Main Street, located just a short distance from the police station.
“It appears that when a patron would go in there, during the course of the massage, the person giving you the massage would offer some type of different type of service that would be sexual in nature,” Trooper Steve Limani said. “They would solicit you to try and pay for these services.”
According to the state police, four locations were raided. Mu’s massage parlor in Greensburg and Latrobe, Li’s massage off of South Main Street in Greensburg and Ruiquan Foot Spa off of South Urania Avenue in Greensburg.
“Both police departments served warrants simultaneously, so we didn’t disrupt or interject into each other’s investigation where we could possibly could have compromised it,” Limani said.
