A barn is destroyed following a fire at a horse ranch near Scottdale yesterday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the property off Chaintown Road shortly before 6 p.m. East Huntingdon Fire Chief Brian Kite says high wind made battling the blaze difficult and one firefighter suffered a hand injury. Six horses had to be rescued by the owners.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
