Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots at the Deauville Park Apartments in Monroeville late Tuesday night.
Several vehicles and Building 651 were struck by gunfire. Authorities said two people later went to UPMC East hospital, believing they had been shot. However, they were not injured. The pair told police they had been inside their vehicle when it was struck by bullets and went to the hospital as a precaution.
As of Wednesday evening, it remained unclear how many individuals had opened fire. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
