Kelli Ann (Strickler) Lyon, 52, of Clarksburg, PA (Conemaugh Twp.) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 31, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home.
The daughter of David and Shirley M. (Verwelst) Strickler, she was born on March 20, 1973, in Latrobe, PA.
Kelli was a graduate of Bible Baptist Academy, Latrobe, Class of 1992 and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, Natrona Heights.
She enjoyed cruises, sitting on her porch, birdwatching especially hummingbirds, gardening her favorite flowers, petunias and daisies, but spending time with her family was her absolute favorite pastime.
Surviving is her husband of 31 years, Michael Lyon of Clarksburg, whom she married on November 7, 1993; her four children, Michael Byron Lyon, Jr. (Rebekah) of Clarksburg, Victoria Lynn Lyon of Indiana, Christopher Russel Lyon of Clarksburg, and Savannah Rose Lyon of Clarksburg; her granddaughter, Aria June Lyon; her brother, Jeffrey Strickler of Latrobe; her sister, Kathy Eicher of Beaver Falls; and her nieces, Summer Eicher and Carly Eicher, both of Beaver Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Ariel Lyon, her brother, Robert Strickler, and two uncles, James and Michael Strickler.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 5th at Hilltop Baptist Church, 35 W. Campbell St., Blairsville with Pastor Joe Miller officiating.
Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Clarksburg, PA.
