A Smicksburg man was sentenced this morning for sexually assaulting a minor.
Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco this morning ordered 34-year-old Jonathan Miller to nine months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and two years of probation after that for a charge of statutory sexual assault. An affidavit of probable cause revealed that he and his victim was 14 at the time of the three incidents that happened over the summer of 2012. The incidents happened at the victim’s home, a barn at the victim’s home, and in the woods near her home.
