Mitch Jebb singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Altoona Curve beat Akron, 3-2, earning a split of their six-game series. Wyatt Hendrie hit a two-run homer for the Curve and starter Wilbur Dotel struck out ten over six innings of work. Jebb and Termarr Johnson each had two hits.
Spencer Horwitz was 0-for-4 and is hitting .125 in his rehab assignment.
The Curve open a six-game series at Erie tomorrow night.
