Northern Cambria picked up its second consecutive win on Thursday, 7-3, over winless Portage.
Ava Messina had two hits with a home run, and Devany Hollingsworth also had two hits for the Colts. For the Mustangs, Mikaila McCoy had two doubles among her three hits and Kendall Stancovich hit a home run.
Once again, Homer-Center has cancelled its softball game due to rain. A make-up date for the game between the Wildcats and Glendale has not been scheduled yet.
