It’s opening night for the Altoona Curve, with top ten pitching prospect Hunter Barco on the mound against Chesapeake. The Curve plan to kick off the season with a Fireworks Night at PNG Field.
The Curve welcome new manager Andy Fox to the field after fourteen seasons coaching in the Red Sox organization, the last three in Boston. He played nine seasons with five teams in the big leagues between 1996 and 2004, earning World Series rings with the Yankees and the Marlins.
