While there were no brush fires reported on Sunday, there were three vehicle accidents reported over the last 24 hours.
The first was reported at 2:06 PM along Route 22 West in Burrell Township. Blacklick and Blairsville fire departments, State Police and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched at the time. The second was also along Route 22, but on the Eastbound side in East Wheatfield Township. Armagh fire department and Citizens’ Ambulance were called out. The third accident called Brush Valley and Vintondale fire department, Citizens’ and State Police to a location on Mack Drive in Brush Valley Township at 12:40 this morning.
Multiple fire crews were also dispatched to a commercial structure fire yesterday. The first call was an automatic fire alarm activation at Breeze Industrial Products on Tunnelton Road in Saltsburg at 1:55 PM. 30 minutes later, Indiana County 911 dispatched seven other fire departments along with Lifestat EMT’s and the county HAZMAT team. Details on that fire have not been released.
