IUP women’s soccer battled PSAC West leader Gannon to a 0-0 tie yesterday.
IUP had to withstand a furious onslaught from the Gannon offense, which took 34 shots. IUP goalkeeper Makenna Yarrow turned aside all eleven shots on goal The Crimson Hawks could manage only one shot in the entire game, and it was a shot on goal. Gannon took 13 shots in the first half and 21 in the second.
IUP is 5-1-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the PSAC, and Gannon remains undefeated, at 6-0-3 overall and 4-0-3 in the PSAC.
