The new First Commonwealth Bank location in Downtown Indiana will have a ribbon cutting tonight.
The new bank branch will be in front of their existing office space at 654 Philadelphia Street and will take over the operations that used to be handled at the corner of 6th and Philadelphia Streets. The long-time bank structure was donated to Indiana County by First Commonwealth to be converted to a Welcome Center for the county. The building will house the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Indiana and the county Tourist Bureau.
Along with ATM Access, the new branch office will offer traditional counter service and a night depository. The branch opened on September 30th. After the ribbon cutting at 5:00 PM, the chamber will celebrate the occasion with a chamber after-hours event until 7:00 PM.
