IUP OPENS SEASON WITH WIN IN THE POOL, GOLF TEAM HEADED FOR PSAC TOURNEY

SWIMMING

IUP Swimming opened its season with a 137-77 win over Shippensburg at the Pidgeon Natatorium yesterday, winning 22 of 26 events.  Multiple event winners included Kasha Stokes and Katie Crosscut for the women and Luke Mikesell and Ty Uhlig for the men.

GOLF

IUP Golf finished fourth at Gannon’s Howard “Bud” Elwell Invitational.  Guillermo Salazar led the Crimson Hawks with a one-under total, good for second place behind Gannon’s Rasmus Seppanen, who shot 10-under for the two-day event.

Next up for IUP is the PSAC Championship Tournament October 18^th through the 20^th at Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, PA.
