State police in Indiana say two people were injured in a crash Saturday morning in White Township.
Troopers were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident around 8:05 a.m. at the intersection of West Pike and Ben Franklin Road. They say 35-year-old Sean McIntyre crashed into 56-year-old John Lattanzio after the latter attempted to make a left turn onto Ben Franklin Road but was affected by a glare in the roadway. Both cars sustained disabling damage and came to rest on the northern side of West Pike Road.
Both drivers were evaluated on-scene by Citizens’ Ambulance personnel before being taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of suspected minor injuries. Indiana Fire Association and Don Huey towing assisted troopers and EMS at the scene.
