The PSAC held its virtual football media day on Thursday and IUP earned the third-best ranking in the west.
After going 3-4 in the PSAC last season, coach Paul Tortorella returns several players, including six 2023 All-PSAC selections. The coach says this year’s team is very experienced.
Tortorella also said he hopes his team will take a step forward in finishing games in 2024.
Slippery Rock was picked first in the west while Cal U was second. Last year’s PSAC champion Kutztown topped the east poll.
IUP opens its season September 5th with a road matchup against Ashland.
