A Pittsburgh man entered guilty pleas in Armstrong County court on Wednesday in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash in 2022 that killed two people from Indiana County.
Court documents show Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to two counts of homicide by vehicle, while other charges, including two counts each of accidents involving death or injury and aggravated assault by vehicle, and a single summary traffic count were not prosecuted. Police say that on July 3rd of 2022, Flynn was behind the wheel of an SUV that collided with a motorcycle driven by 58-year-old Anthony Stasko on Route 56 at Balsiger Road in Kiski Township. His wife, Kim, was riding with him at the time. State police filed charges over a year after the accident happened after conducting a lengthy and thorough investigation. Flynn was also arrested a year after the crash when he was involved in a rear-end collision in Allegheny County.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for September 20th.
