Altoona lost to Richmond, 10-6. Jase Bowen had three hits for the Curve and Tsung-Che Cheng and Kervin Pichardo each homered, but two of the Pirates top pitching prospects, Anthony Solometo and Thomas Harrington, got roughed up. Solometo gave up a two-run home run in two innings of work and Harrington surrendered 6 runs, 5 earned, in five innings of work.
Another top pitching prospect, Braxton Ashcraft, takes the mound for the Curve tonight for the third game of the series.
