Victoria Lee (Turchak) Rowles, 72 of Strongstown, died Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born October 13, 1951 in South Fork, she was a daughter of the late Steve Turchak and June (Swartzentruner) Turchak. She was the wife of Thomas J. Rowles, Jr., whom she married June 2, 1971.
She was a graduate of Forest Hills High School and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Church in St. Benedict.
Victoria loved her family and treasured the times when family could be together, especially when family gatherings included her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loved them dearly. It was very important to her to read and study her bible daily. In her spare time Victoria enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She had been a homemaker who worked at home raising her four children.
In addition to her husband Tom of nearly 53 years, Victoria is survived by her children: Krista McNutt (Justin), Blairsville; Ruth Walker, Blacklick; Dale Rowles, Indiana and T.J. Rowles, Homer City. She is also remembered by eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and four siblings: Stephen Turchak, Sarah Black and Nathan and Aaron Turchak.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tomma Brown.
No services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are with Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana.
